Tasting notes
| Very pale clear ruby. Medium nose, cherries and cranberry fruit on top of a background of liquorice, smoke, leather and farmyard funk. Palate follows fruit, some clove and pepper as well but a bit one dimensional compared to nose. Bright acidity, hardly any tannin, medium finish. Not a top tier wine but very pretty, elegant, fragrant, interesting complexity yet easy drinker, good balance. |
