Tasting notes
| Clear medium (+) ruby. Gentle petillance, small bubbles, faded quickly after opening but still had slight spritz in mouth even when bubbles no longer visible in glass. Complex nose, medium intensity, raspberries, cherries, blackcurrants, chocolate, coffee, a little toffee/caramel. Palate follows, equally complex, medium (+) acidity, body medium (-) and surprisingly so, overall fresh but still deep and intricate, would be lovely with food. Finish v long with fruit persisting. |
