Tasting notes
| Clear medium gold. Pronounced nose, apricots, mandarins, candle wax, struck match, cordite. Big rich palate, posed pefectly between freshness of acid and tertiary waxy honeyed flavours which are developing nicely. Not a great deal of fruit but lots of caramel and smoke. Finish long and perfumed with flavours persisting all the way through to the end. Very beautiful, absolute benchmark aged Chardonnay. |
