Tasting notes
| Clear dark purple. Quite muted at first but opened up after decanting and sitting for an hour or so. Powerful nose, plums, dark cherry, blackberries, cedar, menthol, undergrowth, a little vegetal greenness. Palate livelier and fruitier than expected from the nose, lots of plums and fewer of the more complex notes which were on the nose. Medium acid and dusty tannin, all very nicely in balance. Long finish. |
