Tasting notes
| Clear light copper. Vigorous fizz, quite large bubbles on opening but settled down to a softer mousse shortly after opening. Nose has brown apples, apricots, white pepper. Palate follows with some caramel in the background. Medium body and a good burst of acidity keeps it from being flabby. A slightly metallic finish? Didn’t like it so much at first but really grew on me as it warmed up a little and lost its harsher edges. |
