Tasting notes
| Decanted 4 hours. Dark ruby. Powerful nose, blackcurrants, blackberries, plums, dark chocolate, tobacco, leather, smoke, violets, earthiness. Palate under-delivered somewhat against the promise of the nose, certainly plenty there but felt one-dimensional, over-shadowed by the structure and tannins. Lots to like here but needs a few years yet. |
